The Nostalgia of an American Amalgam
18" x 12" 2 color screenprint The print was inspired by two examples of a perceived pure society. One being the idolized pop culture figures and icons of a pre Vietnam America that seem to always be happy and content. The other being the memories of my childhood in which my surroundings remained innocent before aging and learning of the corruption of the world.
